Kite, a Gilead Company, and Sangamo Therapeutics Announce Collaboration to Develop Next-Generation Engineered Cell Therapies for the Treatment of Cancer

SANTA MONICA, Calif. & RICHMOND, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kite, a Gilead Company (Nasdaq:GILD) and Sangamo Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq:SGMO) today announced the companies have entered into a worldwide collaboration using Sangamo’s zinc finger nuclease (ZFN) technology platform for the development of next-generation ex vivo cell therapies in oncology.
Kite will use Sangamo’s ZFN technology to modify genes to develop next-generation cell therapies for autologous and allogeneic use in treating different cancers. Allogeneic cell therapies from healthy donor cells or from renewable stem cells would provide a potential treatment option that can be accessed directly within the oncology infusion center, thus reducing the time to infusion for patients.

IDACORP, Inc. Announces Fourth Quarter and Year-End 2017 Results, Initiates 2018 Earnings Guidance

BOISE, Idaho, Feb. 22, 2018 -- IDACORP, Inc. (NYSE: IDA) recorded fourth quarter 2017 net income attributable to IDACORP of $38.9 million, or $0.77 per diluted share, compared with $33.2 million, or $0.66 per diluted share, in the fourth quarter of 2016. IDACORP reported 2017 net income attributable to IDACORP of $212.4 million, or $4.21 per diluted share, compared with $198.3 million, or $3.94 per diluted share, in 2016.
Idaho Power Company, IDACORP's principal operating subsidiary, reported fourth quarter 2017 net income of $37.2 million, compared with $28.9 million for the same period in 2016, and 2017 net income of $206.3 million, compared with $189.2 million in 2016.
