Woodbridge Pacific Group Principal Todd Cunningham thanked Gold Nugget judges and Samir Hannouche, lead architect for WPG new home projects. “Samir is the most talented architect I’ve ever worked with, and these awards are a wonderful validation of our long time collaboration,” said Cunningham. “We also applaud Chameleon Design for Skye’s exceptional model home interiors. To create this award-winning collection, Cunningham and Hannouche collaborated on updated mid century designs. “We wanted to meld the contemporary luxury of spacious great rooms, gourmet kitchens and elegant master suites with mid century’s beautiful transparency,” noted Hannouche.
This transparency relies on 12 -foot ceilings, which run uninterrupted through main activity areas to the exterior. Creating sheltered outdoor areas as unified extensions of interior spaces, the designs also feature floor to ceiling glass walls that are actually sliding panels.
WPG turned to Chameleon Design for model home interiors that would showcase the mid century style. “Skye’s interiors pay memorable homage to mid century traditions,” said Cunningham. “These classic spaces are also comfortable and very inviting.”
Priced from the mid $1 millions, Skye’s 5 designs provide 3,322 to 3,976 square feet of living space. Homesites are approximately 14,000 to 19,000 square feet, easily accommodating each home’s price-included pool and spa. Home offices, media and game rooms, dual master suites, casitas and flex rooms highlight Skye’s many lifestyle-focused optional spaces.
